Atomic Tom's story begins in Brooklyn, New York but it sure as hell doesn't end there.
With their first album getting rave reviews in the diy/ independent music community,
Atomic Tom has found themselves in a very fortunate yet uncommon spot...attracting labels while still recording their LP.
In today's music scene its hard to even get a labels intern to come to a show, never mind an actually A&R checking out a unsigned band.
Their record, The Moment, was recorded over four months in a tiny apartment with the band's close friend and producer, Ben Romans.
Despite noise complaints while recording, the LP left the studio dressed in larger-than-life sounds that caught the ear of several A&R reps.
Ultimately, after playing several show cases in NYC & Brooklyn, Atomic Tom signed with music industry power house Universal/Republic Records.
